Our story

I started working with Preferred Childcare 2 years ago after my second child was born. We also had a two-year-old and a newborn with colic. I was sleep-deprived and started asking friends if they knew of a night nanny who could help a couple nights a week so I could sleep. This was not easy to find in Greensboro, so a friend suggested I call Preferred. They were my answer during such a difficult time! At three months, my daughter was much better and we no longer needed night help but continued to use Preferred for their babysitters. My children love the girls they send! It is such a great feeling to know that when something comes up and we need a sitter, all I have to do is call or email and know they will send someone we like and trust. I don't know what I would do without Preferred! A wonderful company and truly caring staff!!

Preferred has been a great resource for our family. Their sitters are always on time, usually a few minutes early, engaging with our boys and clean up well. Preferred Childcare is great with communication and send emails with the resume and photo of the sitter we are having, as well as confirmation of the time they are coming. Last time we came home early the boys asked us to leave so the sitter could stay longer! We highly recommend them to anyone and are so glad we found them!
